Admission to the MBA program is selective. To apply for admission, students must fulfill the requirements outlined below:

    1. Successful completion of at least a Bachelor degree from a reputed university.
    2. Minimum GPA of 2.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations. Or, At least one first division either in SSC or in HSC. No third division is allowed. or GCE “O” Level in 5 subjects and “A” Level in 2 subjects with at least 4 B’s and 3 C’s; or GPA 3.5 or
    3. CGPA of at least 2.50 at undergraduate or graduate levels or seven points calculated on the basis of the following criteria: 
    4. Qualifying in a EWU admission tests or a minimum score of 550 in TOEFL   and 500 in GMAT.

Master of Business Administration (Executive Program)

Admission to the MBA (Executive Program) is selective. To apply for admission, students must fulfill the requirements outlined below:

Admission Requirement

Master of Science (M.S.) Program in

Admission Requirement:

(a) A four-years B.S./B.Sc. degree in Applied Statistics/ Statistics. (b) a three years under graduate degree or one year Masters degree in Statistics or (c) a three year under graduate degree and one year Masters degree in science/medicine/social science with good background of Mathematics. Candidates with pre-qualifications as stated in (c), a few undergraduate level courses in Applied Statistics like AST 101, AST102, AST 203 and AST 206 should take as prerequistic courses.

Minimum GPA of 2.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations. Or, At least one first division either in SSC or in HSC. No third division is allowed. or

MS in Computer Science and Engineering

Bachelor degree from a reputed university in Communication Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Physics/Applied Physics/Computer Science and a minimum  second class or GPA of 2.7 (out of 4.0) in the Bachelor degree from a reputed institution. Students with three years undergraduate degree and one year master degree in any of the above mentioned subjects may apply for admission.

Minimum GPA of 2.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations. Or, At least one first division either in SSC or in HSC. No third division is allowed. or

MS in Applied Physics & Electronics

A four year Bachelor’s degree in any of the above mentioned disciplines or a three-year Bachelor’s degree with one-year Master’s degree.
At least Second Class in all previous exams or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale.

Master of Population, Reproductive Health, Gender and Development (MPRHGD)

Class Day: On Holidays (Friday & Saturday)or

           @ 6:00 PM on other Week-days

  • A four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a UGC recognized university/college in any social science and science subjects (anthropology, economics, geography, sociology, social work, psychology, population studies, health sciences/management, medicine & engineering). Any one with a Master’s degree from a recognized university in any other subject with at least two years of experience in population & health related fields.
  • At least a second division/class in all public examinations or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must pass EWU admission test. Students having a score of 550 in TOEFL and 500 in GRE are admitted directly without an admission test.
  • Professional experience in population and allied fields is preferred but not required.

Admission Eligibility :

Admission to the M.Pharm. program is selective. To apply for admission, students must fulfill the criteria outlined below

Must have Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized university and

  • Minimum GPA of 2.50/2nd Div. in both SSC & HSC exams. (if any candidate obtains GPA 2.00 in SSC/HSC exams, he/she needs to have total GPA of 6.00 in both exams. In case of the wards of freedom fighters, the total GPA required to be 5.00.) or
  • University of London and Cambridge GCE "O" Level in four subjects with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and "A" Level in 2 subjects with a minimum GPA of of 3.0 (in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 and E=1). or
  • American High School Diploma
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 in both SSC and HSC Examinations. Or, At least one first division either in SSC or in HSC. No third division is allowed. or
  • GCE “O” Level in 5 subjects and “A” Level in 2 subjects with at least 4 B’s and 3 C’s; or GPA 3.5
