The B.Sc. (Honors) program in Environment and Development Economics at Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) is a full day-time program. It is a four-year undergraduate program consisting of 120 credit hours. Normal course load is 12 credit hours per term and an academic year consists of three terms- fall, spring, and summer. Each course of the program is a 3 credit-hour course. To be eligible for a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Environment and Development Economics a student has to complete 39 courses and a 3 credit-hour-equivalent supervised Thesis or a Comprehensive & Oral Examination. For each course a student will get at least 39 lecture classes (one-hour each) and 13 tutorial classes-three lectures and one tutorial per week basis. All the courses offered for the program are divided into four parts. The allocation of the number of courses and credit hours in each part of the program is given in the schedule below.
