JUTA Give Ultimatum VC Of JU To Cancel BCL Leaders Appointment
Jahangirnagar University Teachers' Association (JUTA) has given Vice-Chancellor Farzana Islam 24 hours to drop the arrangement of a college's pioneer part of Bangladesh Chhatra League on adhoc premise.
The final proposal came as a choices' feature made amid the general meeting of JUTA at the Jaheer Raihan Seminar Room at 12.00 pm on October 17, 2015 (Saturday).
JUTA president Professor Khabir Uddin said they would go on an inconclusive strike if their interest was not met according to their due date. A sorting out secretary, Foysal Hossain Dipu was designated as an authoritative officer at the college's focal library on adhoc premise on July 13, 2015.
He is charged to have been included in the assault on the instructors challenging against previous Vice-Chancellor Professor Anwar Hossain on October 9, 2013. Despite the fact that Dipu was delegated, he is yet to join his office, as Professor Ajit Kumar Majumdar, executive of the library, didn't acknowledge his arrangement letter, reacting to the educators' allure. He was later moved to the enlistment center office as an officer on uncommon obligation.
The instructors, who have been dissenting against his arrangement, ended their development on the senate's grounds survey on October 11, 2015. No prominent star BNP or ace Awami League educators won in the surveys, making stresses them. Maybe, a 'third gathering' won in the surveys.
