Six More Private Universities Approved
The administration has endorsed framing of six new private universities in spite of cases of inconsistencies and break of tenets against the current ones in the private division.
With this, the quantity of private colleges will now increment to 91. Extra instruction secretary Helal Uddin said that the colleges acquired the administration's endorsement a couple of days back.
Another instruction service source said a few pastors and administering party pioneers are behind the college getting their endorsements. Of the affirmed colleges, two are in Dhaka, one each in Chittagong, Khulna, Kushtia and Manikganj, the source included.
The legislature gave the endorsement resisting the solicitation of the nation's educationalists who had asked the instruction service not to favor any more colleges in Dhaka.
The endorsed colleges are Canadian University of Bangladesh and The International University of Scholars in Dhaka, Rabindra Moitri University in Kushtia, NPI University of Bangladesh in Manikganj, University of Creative Technology, Chittagong and Northern University in Khulna.
Sources said data pastor Hasanul Haq Inu and his wife are trustee individuals from the Rabindra Moitri University in Kushtia while previous BCL general secretaries Isaq Ali Khan Panna and Muhammad Shamsur Rahman are behind the NPI University of Bangladesh in Manikganj.
In Chittagong, the business visionary of University of Creative Technology Chittagong in Chandgaon is Md. Osman. In Khulna, the Khulna branch of Northern University has been permitted to work as Northern University of Business and Technology.
