Practice for the system was going ahead at the Dampara grounds of the college on March 29, 2016 when a squabble occurred among senior and junior understudies over taking control of the project and selecting the boss visitor.
At one stage, the understudies furnished with deadly weapons and cudgel swooped on each other leaving a few harmed at around 1:30 pm, said Officer in-Charge (OC) Aziz Ahmed of Chawk Bazar police headquarters.
Of the harmed, Nasim was sent to CSCR Private Hospital and later moved to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where specialists announced him dead at around 2:30 pm. Three other harmed understudies Md. Imtiaz, Rony Chandra Shil and Md. Ahad were additionally admitted to the CMCH, said sources.
As the news of death of Nasim spread, his kindred understudies took to the road. They scoured managerial working of the college at Probortok crossing point and expanding on the Wasa grounds.
