Animal Sciences University Is To Set Up In Cox's Bazar
The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) on March 29, 2016 endorsed eight improvement ventures including one to set up the second grounds of the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University including Tk. 238.87 crore.
The endorsement originated from the 25th Ecnec meeting of the current financial year held at the NEC gathering room with Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheik Hasina in the seat. The PM likewise requested to set up a specific Animal Sciences University in Cox's Bazar.
Preparation columnists after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said a sum of eight activities were affirmed with Tk. 1,442.41 crore. "Of the aggregate task cost, Tk. 953.52 crore will originate from the national exchequer and Tk. 25.04 crore from the association's own particular asset while Tk. 463.85 crore from undertaking help", he said.
Of the affirmed eight tasks, seven are new while another is a reconsidered one. Arranging Ministry sources said Bangladesh University Grants Commission and Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University will execute the venture by June 2019 at Pahartali and Hathazari of Chittagong, and Cox's Bazar totally with government reserve.
