JnU Teacher Suspended over Sexual Harashment

The Jagannath University (JnU) authority has suspended an instructor for sexually hassling female understudies of his own specialization.

The powers made the move against Mir Mosharraf Hossain, Assistant Professor of the Mass Communication and Journalism Department of the college.

They took the choice after the affirmations were essentially demonstrated against him, JnU Teachers' Association president Sarker Ali Akkas said.

He said eight female understudies of the office stopped separate protests against the educator to the college powers. Later, a five-part board of trustees was framed with the JnU Teachers' Association president as its head.

The panel presented its report to the Vice-Chancellor on April 12, 2016. Amid examination, the board observed the claims to be valid, as per a news office report.
